We arrived at Hörgsland Cottages in Kirkjubæjarklaustur, greeted warmly despite our late check-in. The cozy cabin #10 provided a comfortable retreat, with scenic mountain views from the back porch. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare meals, saving money in pricey Iceland. The helpful staff went above and beyond when our car broke down, ensuring we had a memorable stay despite the setback. The serene location, away from the hustle and bustle, made for a peaceful New Year's getaway.
